Extended periods of operation leads to diffuser bio-fouling. This fouling results in an increase in pressure loss across the diffuser system and a reduction in oxygen transfer efficiency. Both these scenarios result in higher operating costs i.e. wasting money.
An ongoing maintenance programme including periodic forensic tests on the plant diffusers both in situ and in our lab helps to refine the most appropriate maintenance regime for your plant. This enables you to decide when it is most economically viable to clean or change the diffuser elements. All testing and evaluation are undertaken without disruption to your process.
Using this monitoring as part of an ongoing package will allow you to maintain the lowest ownership cost of your plant and forecast when is the best time to undertake any refurbishment work. You will be confident of the actual results you will achieve before undertaking any work and therefore can prioritise refurbishments accordingly.
